Fettuccine Alfredo

- 2 teaspoons margarine
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 4-1/2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 1-1/2 cups skim milk
- 1/2 cup grated low-fat parmesan cheese
- 3-1/2 teaspoons fat-free cream cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 4 ounces hot cooked fettuccine
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Melt margarine in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic. Cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in flour. Cook and stir 2 minutes or until small clumps form. Gradually stir in milk. Cook 6 minutes or until sauce thickens, stirring constantly. Stir in cheeses and pepper. Cook 2 minutes or until cheeses melt, stirring constantly. Spoon sauce over fettuccine; toss to coat. Sprinkle parsley evenly over each serving.
